My comments mostly aren't about lintian, but you need to run lintian with
-IE --pedantic against libpoly0_1.4-1_amd64.changes:

X: libpoly0 source: debian-control-has-obsolete-dbg-package libpoly-dbg
I: libpoly0 source: duplicate-short-description libpoly0 libpoly-dev libpoly-dbg
W: libpoly0 source: out-of-date-standards-version 3.9.8 (current is 4.0.0)
I: libpoly0 source: testsuite-autopkgtest-missing
I: libpoly0 source: debian-watch-file-is-missing
P: libpoly-dbg: no-upstream-changelog
P: libpoly-dev: no-upstream-changelog
I: libpoly-dev: extended-description-is-probably-too-short
I: libpoly0: hardening-no-bindnow usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpoly.so.0.1.4
P: libpoly0: no-upstream-changelog
I: libpoly0: extended-description-is-probably-too-short
