Thank you for the update. That's much better. I am fine with pulling
from your Git repository directly but I'm not a member of the pkg-gnome
team, so you need to take care of all the tagging and committing stuff
by yourself.

Yes

No. I installed gnome-core eight years ago and never followed the gnome
metapackage. However I did install the gnome metapackage right now,
rebooted the system but it makes no difference.

I have installed tracker and tracker-gui on my system and it appears to
be working but still there are no games listed in gnome-games-app. It's
a bit late here, I need to think this over tomorrow.
