Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "dmalloc"

* Package name    : dmalloc
  Version         : 5.5.2-7
  Upstream Author : Gray Watson <http://256stuff.com/gray/email/>
* URL             : http://dmalloc.com/
* License         : CC-BY-SA-3.0 or Dmalloc
  Section         : devel

It builds these binary packages:

  libdmalloc-dev - debug memory allocation library (development files and doc)
  libdmalloc5 - debug memory allocation library

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/dmalloc

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/d/dmalloc/dmalloc_5.5.2-7.dsc

More information about dmalloc can be obtained from http://dmalloc.com.

Changes since the last upload:

dmalloc (5.5.2-7) unstable; urgency=medium

  * New maintainer (Closes: 812613).
  * Add debian/libdmalloc5.symbols file.
  * Update debian/libdmalloc5.shlibs file.
  * debian/rules:
    + Make sure strdup() definition is included in library.
    + Simplify how we derive version numbers.
    + Build with all hardening flags set.
  * debian/control:
    + Indicate compliance with Standards Version 3.9.8.
    + Fix unconditional dependency on multiarch-support.
    + Wrap and sort.
    + Update homepage URL.
    + Update maintainer as myself.
    + Add provisional VCS details.
  * debian/manpage/dmalloc.1: Fix typo.
  * Add debian/source/lintian-overrides to silence warning about verifying
    upstream tarballs with a GPG signature, as there is none available.
  * Convert debian/copyright file to machine-readable format and update.
  * debian/patches/*:
    + Update all patches with DEP-3 headers that work with git-buildpackage,
      retaining as much meta info as possible.
    + Add patch to fix perl shebang in contrib/dmalloc_summarize.pl to
      appease Lintian.
    + Patch configure.ac to use AC_LANG_SOURCE macro for all test code.
      The use of this macro has been required since version 2.66 of
      autoconf.
    + Add patch to fix compilation warnings.
