Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

  gbp clone --pristine-tar https://anonscm.debian.org/git/collab-maint/shadowsocks-libev.git
  cd shadowsocks-libev
  git checkout jessie-backports_2.5.6+ds-1
  DIST=jessie-backports git-pbuilder create # Skip this if you already have pbuilder environment
  gbp buildpackage --git-ignore-branch --git-pristine-tar --git-pbuilder --git-dist=jessie-backports
