What I first heard of few days ago was _your_ involvement with Backbone 
packaging, Julien.

Seems from your summary that I didn't miss prior communication with you.

Thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for your offer to collaborate on maintaining Backbone packaging 
for Debian, but I choose to decline: I do not find your style of 
colaboration beneficial to the package, as it evidently involves doing 
radical structural changes to packaging without prior coordination with 
peer package maintainers, some of it arguably weakening the quality of 
the package.

I certainly believe that you did it with the best of intentions, and I 
would very much appreciate your collaboration in another style involving 
coordination _before_ action.
