1) indeed, please list them separately, with a brief explanation

2) please call it 1.2-1 and do a QA upload (dch --qa)

3) undocumented stuff:
add misc:Depends not in changelog
fix description
dep5 copyright (yeah)
patch drop (list them and explain why you dropped them)

4) do you want to maintain it? you can! #817705
