Hi,

DebOMatic isn't the tool used by buildds systems, but sbuild is
(with various different resolvers)

I use them both :)

probably DebOMatic sets some more environment variables, to make the build
"cleaner"
e.g. disable some more ports and internet connections
export something like $HOME or other variables.

so it isn't unusual to get more failures on DOM and not have them on buildd.d.o

but I guess it is nice to fix if you can

feel free to setup a local DOM instance, or to look at the code
https://github.com/debomatic/instances

see above :)

you can ask me or directly ask for an account on DOM and upload changes files
by yourself
(you need to send your ssh public key and probably your gpg public key with email address)

and to learn how to dput/dupload on debomatic!

thanks to you!

The most difficult part in Debian is always the start :)

and after it is really easy ;)

(if the first step was checked enough for goodness)

cheers!
