Bug#810483: RFS: helm/1.9.1-1 [ITP] -- Emacs incremental completion and selection narrowing framework

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my packaging of Helm, an alternative to
Ido that is very popular among Emacs users. Upstream description:

    Helm is incremental completion and selection narrowing framework for
    Emacs. It will help steer you in the right direction when you're
    looking for stuff in Emacs (like buffers, files, etc).

    Helm is a fork of anything.el originally written by Tamas Patrovic
    and can be considered to be its successor. Helm sets out to clean up
    the legacy code in anything.el and provide a cleaner, leaner and
    more modular tool, that's not tied in the trap of backward
    compatibility.

* Package name    : helm
  Version         : 1.9.1-1
  Upstream Author : Thierry Volpiatto <thierry.volpiatto@gmail.com>
* URL             : https://emacs-helm.github.io/helm/
* License         : GPL-3+
  Section         : lisp

My source package builds the binary packages elpa-helm and
elpa-helm-core. This reflects the split upstream makes in publishing
Helm to MELPA, the de facto standard source of Emacs addons.

Download with dget:

    dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/h/helm/helm_1.9.1-1.dsc

Or build it with gbp:

    git clone https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-emacsen/pkg/helm
    git checkout debian/1.9.1-1
    git verify-tag debian/1.9.1-1 # if you have my key
    gbp buildpackage

Thanks.
