the problem is that I have little kde knowledge, and I know they transition a lot depending
on qt stuff.
Since the maintainers are many, and active, I don't see any particular reason to not ping them,
specially to avoid making bad uploads :)
(I'm sure somewhere there should even be some backport policy, specific to kde tools)
