Bug#807781: RFS: git-remote-gcrypt/0.20130908-8 [ITA] -- encrypted git repositories

Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my adoption of "git-remote-gcrypt". It
can securely encrypt git repositories for storage on untrusted remote
servers (including services like GitHub). It does this with minimal
overhead for the user: all the usual git commands work as normal.

* Package name    : git-remote-gcrypt
  Version         : 0.20130908-8
  Upstream Author : Joey Hess <id@joeyh.name>
* URL             : https://github.com/joeyh/git-remote-gcrypt
* License         : GPL-2+
  Section         : vcs

Changes since the last upload:

  * Adopt git-remote-gcrypt package (Closes: #771020).
  * Switch dpkg-source format to 3.0 (quilt).
    Move changes by Joey Hess into a quilt patch.
  * Install man page using rst2man, rather than just installing README.rst.

To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:

    dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/g/git-remote-gcrypt/git-remote-gcrypt_0.20130908-8.dsc

Thanks.
