Hi Gabe,

>CVars is a small C++ library that allows run-time tweaking of C++ variables from a drop-down console. For example, CVars allows OpenGL developers to easily add a >'Quake-style' debugging console to their applications.
wonderful,

I fail to see a Debian packaging there.
well, I see a debian directory in a branch, but it has many issues, e.g.
libcvars-dev (2.6.0-0ubuntu1) vivid; urgency=low
* Initial release (Closes: #1234)
you need to target unstable, and fix many other things
(e.g. opening an ITP bug, not calling it 2.6.0-0ubuntu1 but 2.6.0-1, not calling the source name libcvars-dev but cvars instead)
copyright in dep-5 format, rules file with so much useless commented stuff
control file with empty homepage, and so on
outdated standard version
please read this page
http://mentors.debian.net/intro-maintainers
and upload on mentors a fixed package.
mentors will run lintian and help you in fixing the packaging troubles
(or you can run lintian locally too)
>I am looking forward to getting involved with the Debian community.
I would like to help you in that :)
cheers,
G.
