wonderful!
sorry for the long wait, but I was really busy in other sponsoring :)
I did a final review of the package, and it was looking good.
(I couldn't finish the first level, but that's another story :p )
some nitpicks I would like to see addressed in a future release:
(please forward patches upstream too and link them in the patch header)
- use of dh_install features to exclude "xcf" files.
man dh_install can give you the answer, but I didn't check if it works :)
alternatively you can do something like
find debian/edgar-data -name "*.xcf" -delete
that should be more compact.
- another issue is to add some flags
