There is work going on to improve npm2deb to allow for tarballs to be repacked to bundle closely related sub-modules (node_modules), and we are working on the criteria to help make the choice: https://github.com/LeoIannacone/npm2deb/issues/15 node-isarray is quite generic, and depended on by many other node modules that are waiting to be packaged, so I don't believe it fits the criteria for bundling as it stands at the moment.
