Please document the maintainer change and close the ITA bug in the
changelog.
Nitpick: "README.debian" should be "README.Debian" (note the capital D).
I think it would make more sense in the plugin-disabling code was in
ftdetect/rcshell.vim rather than in syntax/rcshell.vim. (Rationale: Vim
would load the ftdetect script unconditionally, but it'd load the syntax
script only if someone or something set syntax to "rcshell".)
The shebang detection code doesn't allow for options after the
interpreter name. For example, it failed to detect filetype for the
script I had with the following shebang:
#!/usr/bin/rc -ex
Lintian says:
