Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "fuse-zip"
Package name : fuse-zip
Version : 0.4.0-1
Upstream Author : Alexander Galanin <gaa.nnov@mail.ru>
URL : https://code.google.com/p/fuse-zip/
License : GNU LGPL v3
Section : utils
It builds those binary packages:
fuse-zip - ZIP archive mounter based on FUSE
To access further information about this package, please visit the following URL:
http://mentors.debian.net/package/fuse-zip
Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this command:
dget -x http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/f/fuse-zip/fuse-zip_0.4.0-1.dsc
Changes since the last upload:
* Initial upload to Debian (Closes: #516398)
* debian/control: Change maintainer to mbekkema97@gmail.com
* New upstream release
- debian/patches/debian-changes-0.2.13-0ubuntu1 and
debian/patches/fuse-zip_libzip-0.10.patch removed
- build depend on libzip-dev (>= 0.11.2)
* Update debian/watch
* debian/rules: Use dpkg-buildflags
* Bump Standards.
* Use debhelper v9

Matthew Bekkema

Hi Matthew,
I have sponsored the upload of your package, however, there's a few
improvements which your package could get.
1/ Fix debian/copyright to use the parseable format 1.0, as described in
here:
http://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/copyright-format/1.0/
2/ Removed completely the debian/patches folder (as it contains no patch
at all now)
Also, while trying the package, I wasn't able to mount a zip file
without being root. Is there any trick I missed?
Cheers,
Thomas Goirand (zigo)
