Strange, I see the opposite:

$ apt-cache show libjson0-dev
[...]
Description-en: JSON manipulation library (transitional package)
 This is a transition package that can be safely removed once no
 package depend on it.

$ apt-cache show libjson-c-dev
[...]
Description-en: JSON manipulation library - development files
 This library allows you to easily construct JSON objects in C,
 output them as JSON formatted strings and parse JSON formatted
 strings back into the C representation of JSON objects.
 .
 The development headers for compiling programs that use libjson-c
 are provided by this package.

The web interface at packages.debian.org also agrees with the above.

Ack, I can confirm this. Strange...but this isn't a blocker either
way, and I'm fine with using libjson0-dev as build-dep.

Both my email addresses are associated with the same gpg key, with my
@debian.org address as my primary uid.

Anyways, built, signed, and uploaded; thanks for your contribution to Debian!

Regards,
Vincent
