I'd sponsor tht package in general as I use it (the old upstream
package) and would be happy to see it in Debian.
Looking at the sponsorship request shows me already two issues:
* Section: python
* Binary: python-automx
This is a server application, no python library, hence it neither
should be in section python nor should it have the "python-" prefix in
the binary package name.
My suggestion would be:
* Section: mail
* Binary: automx
I'd be also fine with e.g.
* Section: httpd
* Binary: automx-wsgi
or any other combination of these or similar values.
After a first glance at the source package (mostly debian/rules and
debian/control, lintian) I found only one more, but minor issue:
* override_dh_installchangelogs is unnecessary. dh_installchangelog at
compat level >= 7 guesses the upstream changelog name. And it does
so correctly in this case.
Still have to look closer at copyrights and such stuff.
Regards, Axel
