Hi Paul,

Thanks for the suggestion, but compton provides many added features to
xcompmgr as well as bug fixes and IMO has diverged too far from
xcompmgr to make merging desirable or practical.

For example, compton provides a dbus interface and regex matching of
window attributes - features far outside the scope of xcompmgr as "a
sample compositing manager for X servers".

I've uploaded a new package based on the latest upstream snapshot. It
can be found at:

    http://mentors.debian.net/package/compton

It can also be downloaded using:

    dget -x
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/c/compton/compton_0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03-1.dsc

Initial release changelog:

compton (0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03-1) experimental; urgency=low

  * Imported Upstream version 0.0.1+git-b3652f6-2013-03-03
  * Override dh_auto_clean to quiet verbose build warnings.
  * Initial release (Closes: #679551)
