General PCTS results/question
If anyone is interested,
When I start looking at the errors that I got running the PCTS test suite,
I found that the following test cases all failed the exact same way on all
5 distros (RedHat 7.1, SuSE 7.2, Caldera 3.1, TurboLinux 6.5 and Debian 3.0
- Woody).
I thought it was interesting and someone might want to know this.
Here are the test cases and the results:
/tset/ANSI.os/streamio/tmpfile/T.tmpfile 2 with results that the tmpfile
did not creat file with mode 0666 when umask was set to 0, instead 0600.
/tset/POSIX.hdr/misc/dirent/T.dirent 2 with 'var' isn't known
/tset/POSIX.hdr/misc/dirent/T.dirent 6 with 'deref' isn't known
/tset/POSIX.hdr/misc/limits/T.limits 3 with _POSIX_PATH_MAX being 256
and it should be 255 & _POSIX_TZNAME_MAX being 6 and it should be 3
/tset/POSIX.hdr/misc/signal/T.signal 39 with a bunch of compilation
errors, but it appears to be the same ones
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/c_lflag/T.c_lflag 6 with VSX_TERMIOS_LOOP
returning 11 but expecting 10
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/i_canon/T.i_canon 1 with getting a error 4 when
expecting a 58
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/i_canon/T.i_canon 2 with getting a error 4 when
expecting a 58
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/i_canon/T.i_canon 3 with getting a error 4 when
expecting a 57
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/i_ctty/T.i_ctty 9 with SIGINT not being
received by parent when child wrote interrupt character
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/tcdrain/T.tcdrain 2 with SIGTTOU not received
when TOSTOP flag clear or set
/tset/POSIX.os/devclass/tcsetpgrp/T.tcsetpgrp 6 with return code EPERM
but expected EINVAL
/tset/POSIX.os/files/unlink/T.unlink 19 with return code EISDIR when
expected EPERM
/tset/POSIX.os/ioprim/fcntl/T.fcntl 37 with return code EMFILE when
expected EINVAL
/tset/POSIX.os/procenv/getlogin/T.getlogin 1 with results returned
"root" expected "vsx0"
