clarifying
Just want to make sure I'm clear on how to
do this stuff.
If there's a "processor-specific" patch,
which in fact is self-contained (does not
affect other platforms), should it be
included for all platforms, or just for
the platform in question?
To give an example (the only example, at
the moment), right now we have:
glibc-2.2.5.gcc32.patch
glibc-2.2.5.lsb.patch
glibc-2.2.5.ia64.patch
glibc-2.2.5.ppc32.patch
Should glibc-2.2.5.ia64.patch be limited
to building for ia64, or should it be
installed for all?
