I have been trying to keep the SI architecture neutral as much as possible.  
If the patches are ignored by other arches then let's just apply them and not 
worry about the new <cond> code.  Where the tag does come in handy is the 
bootable work where things like "build bootloader" need to be done only on 
certain architectures.
