You are rude, because you do not know what you are talking about here. Take a
look at SuSE 8.0 and you will realize that all of your problems are now
"fixed". The init level differences are now a year old.
And the attitude that 'SuSE is "another planet" ... on Linux' is also wrong.
SuSE predates Red Hat and have been following the way it was done until Red
Hat changed everything. This is the reason people from other unices felt more
at home in older SuSE releases, because these felt more alike.
I'm sorry if you know see me as rude, but there were too many mistakes in your
mail for me to keep my mouth shot. And since SuSE now does basically what RH
does, the discussion at lsb level doesn't make sense anyway.
