This issue doesn't affect ISV's, so it should be left to the discretion
of the distributor. If *you* want something that's clearer to *you*,
choose a distribution that operates in that fashion. LSB should *not*
choose sides on this, because to do so is unnecessary. Why do so many
people seem to have a hard time grasping that?
