Agree with AB here. If this was a "Simpsons" joke, a) no-one here really got it, and b) it really isn't that funny given what's happening in the open-source world right now with the whole #RMS shenanigans which I also don't really truly understand nor appreciate (before my time).

In a time where the fate of FSF and OSS hangs in the balance, stuff like this isn't welcome.

Agree with Goerzen and fosslinux here: This is a public mailing list for matters about Gopher. If you want to shitpost, do it in your glog or phlog or whatever. This mailing list is not the place.

If you're mad about something (which is what it seems), at least give it context or some sort of explanation. From anyone not in on the "joke" (myself included), it just looks really bad.
