mime.conf to mime.types

Fiddling with Pygopherd, I see that it looks for /etc/pygopherd/mime.types. I have a list of odd mime types provided in a mime.conf file for use with Apache. Has anyone already written a script to convert a mime.conf file to the simpler mime.types?
