One project I was working on, which I'd like to go back to, was providing a Gopherspace archive, which included the 2007 mirror.
What I was planning on doing was rewriting the selectors to point to the local mirror. This would work well for menus, but HTML documents might pose problems.
Greetings, with the availability of the 2007 Gopherspace Mirror at archive.org [0] I've always wondered if it would be possible to recreate a working replica of the gopherspace on my own machine. I'm thinking of something like OldUse.net [1] does for usenet.Has anyone attempted such thing? I assume it would be like a honeynet, just that it's real daemons, handing out real content.Cheers,Florian
