[gopher] Mosaic on Nokia N900

(there are no graphical gopher clients on my N900, so if we consider Mosaic one of those then we're on topic :-)

Built the latest Mosaic on my N900 today, required quite a lot of fiddling but in the end the build was succesfull. This was with the WHOLE F*CKIN build environment installed into my N900 - it required so much room from root that I had to move stuff around quite a lot...

Anyway...

Build succeeded, but apparently the N900's fonts are TTF only. Well, there's -misc-fixed- but the rest are TrueType. Tried installing 100dpi fonts from Debian but couldn't get it up and running as the X server doesn't have font paths set (so it failed to find the installed fonts)...

Oh well. Gotta sleep, need to think about this more tomorrow.

[user@n900 ~/code/mosaic/mosaic27ck9/src]$ ./Mosaic
Warning: Cannot convert string "-adobe-times-medium-r-normal-*-17-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1" to type FontStruct Warning: Cannot Get Font -adobe-helvetica-medium-o-normal-*-*-180-*-*-p-*-iso8859-*Warning: Splash Screen has been aborted.
Reason: Could not load version font.

Anyone know how to list the configured font dirs from a running X server?

- Kim
