Good news. Floodgap has stated a willingness to permanently take over Gopher Jewels. This is a perfect marriage, as Floodgap is both constantly monitoring the status of the worlds Gopher Servers, and the data comming back from Veronica 2 searches. The fact that Floodgap is also the first Server seen when entering through the Public Gopher Proxy also makes having Gopher Jewels hosted on Floodgap desirable. Thank you Cameron.
