Package: apt
Version: 1.8.0~alpha3
Severity: minor
When upgrading, changes are shown. I found the message shown in the top of the file /usr/share/doc/apt/NEWS.Debian.gz , where it reads:
The PATH for running dpkg is now configured by the option DPkg::Path,
and defaults to "/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin/:bin".
Seems to me this should read:
The PATH for running dpkg is now configured by the option DPkg::Path,
and defaults to "/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin".
So just a "/" and ":" swapped. As far as I can tell, this doesn't concern actual behaviour or configuration, that is: *appears* to be a documentation bug only. And therefore should be easy / low-risk to correct ;-)
