Yes, there's zero documentation for this feature. It would be nice to see
this documented even if we have to say things like « Debian doesn't
currently provide any service returning a list of mirrors close to the
user so this method is not really useful unless you are willing to
manually maintain a list of mirrors useful for you... ».

I think jak put some work into this method recently so it might be
interesting to be able to use it... even if only by pointing it to
an URL listing all the mirrors of a selected country.
