Package: apt Version: 1.4.8 After setting up my own deb repo for stretch test builds at: https://deb.kathenas.org/stretch sources.list line: deb https://deb.kathenas.org/stretch / I tried importing my public signing key onto a stretch vm with the following command. sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 2961D9B62017A57A The command will fail due to lack of 'dirmngr'. Installing the package 'dirmngr' rectifies the error and all is imported correctly. You are supposed to drop OpenPGP public keyring packets into /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d at the moment. -- debian developer - deb.li/jak | jak-linux.org - free software dev ubuntu core developer i speak de, en
