Package: apt
Version: 1.4.8

After setting up my own deb repo for stretch test builds at:

https://deb.kathenas.org/stretch

sources.list line: deb https://deb.kathenas.org/stretch /

I tried importing my public signing key onto a stretch vm with the following
command.

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 2961D9B62017A57A

The command will fail due to lack of 'dirmngr'. Installing the package 'dirmngr'
rectifies the error and all is imported correctly.

Regards

Phil

This is a feature, not a bug. You are not supposed to use apt-key,
and especially not adv. You are supposed to drop OpenPGP public
keyring packets into /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d at the moment.
