Actually, apt-file 3 relies on "apt update" to do the heavy lifting, so
this is not entirely wrong (and indeed, apt-file update more or less
just calls apt(-get) update).
  Though, you are right in that using "apt-file update" may be better as
it will include apt-file's own configuration file (if present).
