Bug#853858: /usr/bin/apt-key: cannot add gpg keys due to their large size

Sorry about that!  I didn't mean to be obscure.  When i wrote "(see
sources.list(5))" i meant "see the documentation about sources.list in
section 5 of the system manual", which can be done from the command line
with :

     man 5 sources.list

Or you can also see that online here:

     https://manpages.debian.org/testing/apt/sources.list.5.en.html#THE_DEB_AND_DEB-SRC_TYPES:_OPTIONS

If you search within there, you'll see documentation for Signed-By and
related options.

agreed, it would be better to use Signed-By than to import these
external keys into /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.

PS Also, sorry for greeting you as "? ??" earlier, i can only assume
   that your name was mangled by some mail transfer agent that processed
