Bug#845299: apt: does not always install recommended packages by default
I've eventually noticed inconsistent recommends:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=844300#59
which could be the cause of this problem. However, apt / apt-get
still has broken logic: in the last case
apt-get install nvidia-kernel-dkms nvidia-settings nvidia-driver libgl1-nvidia-glx nvidia-driver-libs-i386
does not signal any broken Recommends, while one at least has been
broken. I suspect that it detected this, but the list of packages
in the "Recommended packages:" part is incorrect.
