Bug#820860: Fun with co-existing mutually conflicting Essential packages, again

Hi *, (XTaran and Klaus informed in separate German mail)

just got pointed to this by XTaran. David, sorry that this pops up
in your domain again, but doing it right i̲s̲ hard, even though it
“should” work, from just the .deb package format anyway.

@all: this is related to #806422 which is just the opposite problem.

Last time I tried, Important (instead of Essential) was not enough
to make dash-mksh installable in the first place and/or it got
removed in the next apt run. But that was before we had the workaround
from #806422 (the preferences.d file) in place.

I’ll retry whether using Important instead of Essential can work
in both jessie and sid, with apt (not aptitude).

David, if you have an idea how this can be achieved with less
trouble, be sure to share ;-)

Thanks,
//mirabilos

Stéphane, I actually don’t block Googlemail, they’re just too utterly
stupid to successfully deliver to me (or anyone else using Greylisting
and not whitelisting their ranges). Same for a few other providers such
as Hotmail. Some spammers (Yahoo) I do block.
