Please, could you use "min" rather than "m" for referring to minutes?  "m" is
the SI unit for meter.  While there's no SI unit for minutes, the CIPM
(Comité International des Poids et Mesures) standards recommend that
"min" is used:

While you are right, I don't see much point in it and others seem to
agree as this wasn't commited or even commented on in 8 years.

This is mainly used in the places where every character counts (like the
one line progress report at the bottom of 'apt-get update'), so
"wasting" too additional character for something which should be pretty
obvious from the context ("5m 32s" probably doesn't mean "5 meters and
32 seconds" nor "5 months and 32 seconds") feels wrong.

So, closing this bug as wontfix.
