This issue is still valid. If we can't find a proper solution before the
freeze, would it be possible to ship this workaround with Jessie for
kFreeBSD-*?
I can confirm that using Dpkg::Use-Pty=False in
/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99kfreebsd fixes the issue for me.
