Bug#745046: apt: Fails to report dependency problems for /experimental package

Unfortunately I can't reproduce this here at the moment, so if you still
can, would it be possible to attach/mail me your /var/lib/dpkg/status ?
Otherwise, maybe you can reproduce it with one of the older backups of
this file, you can try it with e.g. the following options:
-s -o dir::state::status=/var/backups/dpkg.status.1.gz

Debug options like:
-o Debug::pkgProblemResolver=1 -o Debug::pkgDepCache::Marker=1
might also shine some light on this.

As usual: The dpkg/status file (and its backups) contain information
about what packages you have installed and in which version. They do not
contain personal information per-se, but your personal package
selections (e.g. everyone would be able to tell if you have vim or emacs
or both installed) so if you don't want to make this public, you can sent
them to me directly (in case you trust me, of course).
