Try adding '[ arch=amd64 ]' in the sources.list entry for the dvd. If
that solves the problem then then the entry should be generated better
utilizing the Architectures: ... entry from the Release file on the DVD.

PS: Shouldn't there be some i386 debs on DVD-1?
