Hi. I'd also suggest the following: "broing" messages should be made grey, like: Preparing to replace python2.7 2.7.3-8 (using .../python2.7_2.7.5-1_amd64.deb) ... Unpacking replacement python2.7 ... Preparing to replace python2.7-minimal 2.7.3-8 (using .../python2.7-minimal_2.7.5-1_amd64.deb) ... Unpacking replacement python2.7-minimal ... dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/etc/python2.7': Directory not empty Selecting previously unselected package libpython2.7-minimal. Unpacking libpython2.7-minimal (from .../libpython2.7-minimal_2.7.5-1_amd64.deb) ... Selecting previously unselected package libpython2.7-stdlib. Unpacking libpython2.7-stdlib (from .../libpython2.7-stdlib_2.7.5-1_amd64.deb) ... Preparing/Unpacking happens with every package... and when I have many console pages full of these messages, I easily oversee the only one important within here, namely: dpkg: warning: unable to delete old directory '/etc/python2.7': Directory not empty Such errors should ideally be red. The same with... Setting up libasound2-data (1.0.27-4) ... Setting up libasound2:amd64 (1.0.27-4) ... Setting up libpython2.7-minimal (2.7.5-1) ... "Setting up messages"... boring.. grey. Cheers, Chris.
