Bug#638024: [apt] APT::Default-Release considers equivalent suite names differently ("testing" != "wheezy")

Hi,

I am having this or a very similar problem as well, however both apt.conf and
sources.list contain the suite name "testing". Aptitude sometimes complains on
startup:

The value 'testing' is invalid for APT::Default-Release as such a release is
not available in the sources

My sources.list is (sources.list.d is empty):

deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ unstable main
deb http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ testing/updates main contrib non-free

This happened only once so far, I do not know how to reproduce it. Also, since
I added the Default-Release line, apt-xapian updating fails (see [1]) and the
daily debtags cronjob sends me this mail:

/etc/cron.daily/debtags:
debtags update error

However, again this is not entirely reproducible - I don't get this mail every
day.

Kind regards,
Ralf
