Are you sure about the version number, as this smells like #673536
which i thought would be fixed with 0.9.4 (which needs another fix to
actually build thanks to no-internet on buildd, but thats another story…).
If this really happens with 0.9.4 can you please upload somewhere/attach
your /var/lib/dpkg/status ? (or if you don't want it public accessible
feel free to send it to me privately).
Can't reproduce it here with my faked package environment as well as
with a real status file provided in [0].
