You are right, it's a parsing problem. Earlier (unreleased) dpkg versions
(like the one used in ubuntu releases) printed all architectures on one line.
This was changed recently so that every architecture gets his own line
(and it seems like it will stay that way - but we will support both…).

We already talked about that and I specifically recall writing a one-line
patch for it with tests, but it seems like i lost it in my hardware meltdown
on christmas… I guess i will have to hunt/search a bit on the weekend…

Anyway: Thanks for the reminder/bugreport! Consider it fixed.
(but you will have to wait for an upload with this patch i guess,
 we have to deal with a few more interface breaks first -
 but if you swear not to try a crossgrade now you should be fine).
