APT in squeeze has full support for it as by-product of multiple translation
support. It already tries to download Translation-en so in theory ftpmasters
could switch any day provided that her apt-ftparchive rewrite supports
it of course.
I "fear" Ubuntu will deploy it to reduce the size needed for MultiArch soon [0]
(as far as i know, they still use [parts of] apt-ftparchive).
