apt sources update frequency
Hi!
It would be nice, if sources.list contained update frequency. As practice shows, many sources are not needed to update each time with apt-get update. Some sources are not needed to update at all.
I have many sources (more than 10). Each time when I need to update one source I forced to download all of them. Even when there no actual download each hit takes too much time.
I suggest such options:
1. A field in sources.list file with values:
never
always
numeric value in days
2. An option to 'apt-get update' to select specific source and ignore others.
3. An option to 'apt-get update' to force all sources selected.
