Bug#649451: hard-coded gzip-only support in apt-cdrom



Hi David,

First of all, apologies for the tone of my initial report - I was too
tired and frustrated and that shouldn't have tainted my words. :-(

OK, that will help I guess. I could maybe find the time to help with
more generic compressed files support, and I've got the infrastructure
available to be able to test CDs easily at least. I can't promise much
with my rusty C++, but...
