Hi, apt-get update segfaults for me if i use russian utf8 locale.

If i set LC_ALL=C, then everything works fine.

I expect this :  "format=0x7f5d06b21e2d <Address 0x7f5d06b21e2d out of
bounds>" is the cause in #1.

Thanks for your report, Yaroslav!

After some tests with the new version we hope we have fixed it now.
The problem is architecture dependent and only happens for error
messages which are longer than 400 characters, so you were "lucky"
by hitting the longest error message we have (gpg error).

So i am closing this bug now (i forgot to do it in the changelog),
but feel free to reopen it if the problem still occurs in the new version!
