Bug#612557: apt: Internal Error, AutoRemover broke stuff, when trying to upgrade python-uno

2011/2/9 Konrad Dąbrowski <konraddabrowski@yahoo.co.uk>:
> I got the following error and it asked me to file a bug, so I'm doing so. Please tell me if I can help in any way (I will try to keep the system unchanged over the next few days to make sure I can reproduce the bug.)

First of all thanks for your report, Konrad!

Could you attach your /var/lib/dpkg/status to the bug?
(It includes information of all installed packages, so if you
don't want to publish it to the world, I would be happy if
you could send it privately to me)

I guess this change
- keep not installed garbage packages uninstalled instead of showing
in the autoremove section and installing those (Closes: #604222)
is going made here, but I can't really see why at the moment.

(I get the expectable "Broken packages" error on my unstable system)

Best regards

David Kalnischkies
