Bug#556869: Bug #556881: apt-get: unable to install a package
Hi,
FWIW, dpkg handles it just fine:
# dpkg -i pool/main/r/readahead-fedora/readahead{,-}*
Selecting previously deselected package readahead-fedora.
(Reading database ... 10306 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking readahead-fedora (from .../readahead-fedora_1.5.4-2_i386.deb) ...
Selecting previously deselected package readahead.
Unpacking readahead (from .../readahead_1.5.4-2_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: considering removing readahead in favour of readahead-fedora ...
readahead is not properly installed - ignoring any dependencies on it.
dpkg: yes, will remove readahead in favour of readahead-fedora.
Preparing to replace readahead-fedora 2:1.5.4-2 (using .../readahead-fedora_1.5.4-2_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement readahead-fedora ...
More than one copy of package readahead-fedora has been unpacked
in this run ! Only configuring it once.
Setting up readahead-fedora (2:1.5.4-2) ...
Cheers,
