Hi,

FWIW, dpkg handles it just fine:

# dpkg -i pool/main/r/readahead-fedora/readahead{,-}*

Unpacking readahead-fedora (from .../readahead-fedora_1.5.4-2_i386.deb) ...

 in this run !  Only configuring it once.
