How does synaptic make gui out of cli user io?
Hey,
I have been wondering just where in the source code, and how the
front-end gui to apt and dpkg etc. is able to make graphical
representations of what's otherwise user input requests from the shell.
How is this handled? Is there an API built in that all debian packages
know how to call when doing the configuration step of setup? Or is
there some CLI-GUI crossover markup language?
